Research on cannabis use and psychotic disorder association primarily focuses on schizophrenia to the detriment of other psychotic disorders, such as schizoaffective disorder (SAD).SAD is P-5-P an infrequent severe mental illness characterized by a complex interplay of mood and psychotic symptoms.We present a young male who developed persistent psychotic symptoms, including grandiose delusions and episodic mania, in the context of chronic heavy cannabis use.
